The Future at Port Millom includes development of the site as an operations and maintenance facility, providing services to both land-based and offshore wind farm schemes. At our present size we have over 3Ha of working space available, which may be increased to over 10Ha as the business grows. We believe that our location and size makes Port Millom an excellent facility for the handling of bulk construction materials, in particular for the storage and transportation of scour protection rock and large turbine sections.
In providing theses unique facilities Port Millom intends to take a full part in the development of Britain’s Energy Coast TM and help work towards a more sustainable transport infrastructure in the future. We welcome the opportunity to work with like-minded partners in fulfilling these ambitions.
